The CNSS (Council of the National Seismic System) is composed of representatives from most of the US regional seismic networks and the National Seismic Network.

The CNSS maintains an authoritative catalog of events based on a merging of catalogs from the CNSS member networks. This plot shows the authoritative regions in the western U.S., along with the locations of seismic stations in each network.
